So I’m running windows 10 pro and jaws 17 and I close a program like internet, then I try to go to the desk top using windows m and jaws will say Program manager not available, I’ve done a reinstall with no luck, I have to restart the computer then everything is fine.
Thanks for any help.

Odd. Windows M does work.
However, the new keystroke for the desktop is Windows D.
I can use both, but try using the Windows D instead.
Why you get that message, I'm not sure.

thanks, seems to work, guess I need to take the time and look at what has changed in jaws over the years.

What is Program manager?

It isn't Jaws that made the change. It is a Windows keystroke change.
Program manager is something you can use to well, manage the programs on your computer.
It has options.
Sort of hard to explain for me anyway. Laughing.

Not sure, it seems to happen more when I leave a program up and running for awhile. I’ll use ALT F4 to close the program then use windows m to go to the desktop and jaws will say “program manager not available.
